On this Community Day, when you evolve a Piloswine into a Mamoswine using a Sinnoh Stone, it will learn the exclusive move Ancient Power.

The amount of guaranteed Sinnoh Stones on the day of the Community Day has been increased to 10. You can receive 5 stones from battling another player and 5 stones from training with a team leader.

My thoughts

Mamoswine is an Ice and Ground-type Pokemon and its expected to become the best, or amongst the best Ice-type Pokemon with a great move set: Powder Snow / Avalanche. Ancient Power is a Rock-type move  and not the best move out there. The possible reason for Mamoswine getting this exclusive move is because it already has the best Ice-type move and it can’t be benefited any more. Also, in the core games, Piloswine must know the move Ancient Power to be able to evolve into Mamoswine. Since evolutions with specific move requisites don’t exist in Pokemon Go, maybe they are nodding to the original method. I will keep one or two for collectiveness, but not my best ones.
